Hi I’m Jaymee
I’m the heart behind Rested Little Loves, a Registered Nurse and certified baby and toddler sleep consultant.
I support families with compassionate, evidence-based sleep guidance so babies, toddlers and parents can feel more rested, calm and confident.
Sleep deprivation in early parenthood can feel incredibly overwhelming. My goal is to help families navigate this season with support that feels gentle, realistic and aligned with their values.
Because sleep support should never feel stressful or judgemental, it should feel empowering.
How Rested Little Loves began
My passion for baby sleep support grew from watching some of my closest friends and loved ones navigate the reality of sleep deprivation. I saw how exhaustion, constant broken nights and conflicting advice began to affect their confidence, their mental wellbeing and their ability to truly enjoy life with their babies.
Many parents told me they felt lost.
They weren’t sure who to trust.
They doubted themselves.
And they often felt pressure to follow rigid methods that didn’t feel right for their family.
As a Registered Nurse with a background in acute care nursing, I’ve always been drawn to caring for people during vulnerable moments.
Working across both adult and paediatric settings has shown me that when people are exhausted or uncertain, what helps most is feeling supported, understood and gently guided.
Babies have always held a special place in my heart, and I feel incredibly passionate about helping both babies and families not just cope, but truly thrive.
That passion is what led me to create Rested Little Loves.
No Judgement.
No pressure.
Just support.
My approach to baby and toddler sleep
At Rested Little Loves, sleep is never viewed in isolation.
Baby and toddler sleep is influenced by many factors — development, daily rhythm, temperament, environment and the emotional realities of family life. My approach looks at the whole picture so we can support your baby’s sleep in a way that feels sustainable and nurturing for your family.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all method, I guide families through a gentle, personalised process.
Understanding your baby
Every baby is different, and their sleep needs are constantly evolving as they grow.
The first step is understanding your baby as an individual. Their temperament, development, current sleep patterns and the rhythm of your family life.
We look closely at things like:
sleep environment
awake windows and tired cues
daily rhythms and routines
feeding patterns
developmental changes
This deeper understanding allows us to identify what may be impacting your baby’s sleep and where gentle adjustments can help.
Creating a personalised sleep plan
Once we understand your baby’s needs, we create a personalised and holistic sleep plan that supports both your baby and your parenting style.
This plan is never rigid or prescriptive. Instead, it provides clear guidance that feels achievable and aligned with your family values.
Together we focus on:
supporting your baby’s biological sleep needs
building healthy and sustainable sleep foundations
creating calm, predictable routines
introducing changes gradually and gently
You’ll always understand why certain recommendations are suggested so you feel confident moving forward.
Walking alongside you
Sleep support is never just about a plan, it’s about the support you receive while implementing it.
As you begin making changes, I walk alongside you to guide, encourage and adjust things as needed. Babies grow and change quickly, so having someone there to review progress and provide reassurance can make all the difference.
Throughout the process, you can expect:
ongoing guidance and reassurance
support through challenges or regressions
adjustments based on your baby’s progress
a calm, judgement-free space to ask questions
My goal is for families to feel confident, supported and empowered as they move toward more restful nights.
Because you should never have to navigate sleep challenges alone.
